JOB SUMMARY: 
The Network Administrator at Community is tasked with the operational management and maintenance of the organization's IT network infrastructure; including but not limited to switches, network analysis tools, wireless, load balancers, firewalls, and network environments, both on-premises and cloud. This role is vital in ensuring IT network reliability and security, directly impacting the overall operational effectiveness of Community. The IT Network Administrator will engage in troubleshooting, documentation, and maintenance to create a seamless IT network experience for all users. Effective collaboration with IT personnel and sound technical skills are essential to meet the challenges presented by today's dynamic IT landscape. The IT Network Administrator is a team player who will help align IT network services with Community's business needs and internal customer experience.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES: 


30% Utilize network analysis tools to monitor performance and identify potential issues before they impact operations. Analyzes issues to determine appropriate plan of action. Helps create communications assessing findings and Action Plan to appropriate individuals.


25% Network Configuration and Management Assists the configuration and management of switches, wireless access points, and firewalls, ensuring optimal network performance. Assist with the Management of LAN, WAN, WLAN, LB, and firewall infrastructure.


25% Documentation and Incident Management Assist with documentation and assessments of LAN, WAN, WLAN, LB, and firewall infrastructure. Assist with incident management of all LAN, WAN, WLAN, LB, and firewall issues.


15% Collaboration on Upgrades and Enhancements Work with IT team members to implement network upgrades and enhancements to meet emerging needs. Assist IT Network Projects and assist with Projects where IT Networking is a partner.

 


5% Fulfill other responsibilities as necessary to meet the needs of the IT department.

 

Reports to Position Title: Sr Manager, IT Network Administration

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Associate's degree in a related field or (7) Seven-Years of experience in lieu of degree. ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification Required or Must obtain within 6 months of hire
Work Experience (Years and Area): (5) Years in IT network management, including one or more of the following LAN, WAN, WLAN, LB, and Firewalls (Examples include Cisco, Arista, Meraki, Avi, and Palo Alto)
Software Proficiencies: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree preferred and CCNA, ACE-2, PCNSA, or equivalent preferred
