Job Summary
The Nuclear Medicine technologist is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes. The Nuclear Medicine technologist performs special radiographic procedures through the application of ionizing radiation or other diagnostic methods.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program; Certification in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT/NMTCB) and Medical Radiology Technologist (MRT) license by the Texas Medical Board (TMB); Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program
Work experience:
Two (2) years experience as Staff Nuc Med Technologist preferred
