JOB SUMMARY:

The Nursing Operations Coordinator (NOC) II is responsible for providing administrative support for a nursing department and coordinating projects and programs. This includes supporting development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation. The NOC II is accountable for: coordinating administrative activities related to assigned projects/programs; assisting with event planning and implementation; managing the project/program logistics; coordinating meetings, conferences, educational activities, and other related events; developing and dissemination of program/project materials; supporting communication for project/program; assistance with data collection, collating, and reporting; and assisting with the coordination of and/or development and maintenance of databases to support program/project activities. Additionally the NOC II works with nursing leadership in developing, justifying, and monitoring department/project budget; coordinating and monitoring proposal processes; conducting literature reviews to support project/program activities; and developing and/or maintaining websites related to assigned project/program.

The NOC II provides administrative support to the department and actively facilitates departmental operations and goal attainment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor's Degree with four (4) years experience OR Associate Degree with ten plus (10+) years commensurate experience required.

Work Experience: Four (4) years advanced secretarial or two to three (2-3) years in office management position; work history in medical/educational related environment preferred. Program/project management experience preferred.

Equipment Operated: Various office equipment: fax machines, computers, printers, copiers, scanners, etc.

Analytical, CRT, Dictation/Transcription, PC, Medical Terminology, Research, Mathematics, Statistical, Word Processing
