Skills / Requirements


Accountable for directing the operations and staff of up to three Ambulatory Care Centers within Harris Health System. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the coordination between administrative staff and medical staff in clinic operations. Accountable for budget planning, development and implementation for assigned Ambulatory Care Centers. This position will provide oversight of the operational scope criteria defined below.

' All center staff FTE: up to 50(max.)
' All Provider FTE: up to 30 (max.)
' Visits: up to 50,000
' Procedures: up to 15,000
' Specialty Service Lines: up to 4 service lines; or up to 3 site locations


Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: BA/BS Degree required; MBA/MHA preferred

Work Experience (Years and Area): Three (3) years administrative experience in a health care setting.

Management Experience (Years and Area): Three (3) or more years of practice or provider management experience in a three or more physician/provider practice, and/or multidisciplinary clinical environment (supervisory experience) or operational management experience of a service line. If Master's degree is held, one (1) year of management experience as defined above is acceptable.
