Skills / Requirements


Orthopedic Tech

Performs orthopedic procedures and other unit specific duties as delegated by the NM or designee. Assists licensed nursing/physician staff in the care of patients. Responsibilities include application and removed of casts and splints, set-up, maintenance and removal of traction equipment.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Certificate - Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or EMT Program is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support - Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved prgoram.
  • Other certficates as required by unit/service.


Work Experience:

One (1) Year Work Experience - Hospital or Ambulatory Experience Preferred.


Communication Skills:

Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
