Skills / Requirements

Job Summary
Reduces accounts receivable by assisting patients with billing, collection and eligibility questions and bringing resolution to the issues. Also, establishes acceptable payment plans and counsels patients and families on patient liability. Provides customer service by answering telephone calls and mail regarding patient account status, and may meet with patients and families to resolve billing issues.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
High school diploma or GED
Associates Bus. degree or Healthcare Business preferred

Work Experience: One (1) year of Healthcare Business office experience, Medical Accounts Receivable or Insurance Claims experience

Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /Correspondence

Language Skills: Bilingual/ Spanish preferred

Proficiencies: P.C.
