JOB SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Management Value Analysis (VA) Product and Contract Utilization
Manager will assist the Operations Manager and Administrative Director of Supply Chain Management in ensuring that Harris Health System's product and contract utilization initiatives receive support from multidisciplinary VAC teams. The position assists departments of the Harris Health Supply Chain Management procurement process for Hospital Supplies and services. This position will frequently consult with clinicians, Medical Technology group, Harris County Purchasing, Accounts Payable, IT, Facility Systems Engineer and Planning, Pharmacy, Vendors, and other stakeholders as required. Employee will utilize project management methodologies to manage products and contracts selection through VA processes and expedite supply project completion. Employee will assess Harris Health System Supply Chain processes for opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness for cost reductions. Provides analysis, evaluates, proposes, and leads clinical departments and Utilization Management efforts relating to Supply Chain activities. The Product and Contract Utilization Project Manager provides project(s) close out, engages in a detailed department and operational Utilization Reviews and provides administrative review as required. This position also works on project scopes of work, standardization projects, supply chain operations projects and timelines with reasonable advance notice to Operations Manager and the Administrative Director as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Degrees:
Bachelors in Business, Accounting. Health Administration, or Clinically related B.S.
Master's Degree in Business Administration, or Health Administration, preferred.

Work Experience: Five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Healthcare experience preferred. Five (5+) years of experience working with Purchasing and inventory management systems, strategic sourcing, and spreadsheet application. Five plus (5+) years of experience in business process improvement and cost reduction.

Management Experience: Three (3) years of experience in Supply Chain Management roles preferred.
