JOB SUMMARY:

The Quality and Accreditation Program Manager (QAPM) reports to the Associate Administrator, Quality Programs and Accreditation. The QAPM works closely with the Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) management and staff and system Quality Programs and Accreditation department. The QAPM is accountable for the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the ASC quality program; and supports data measurement, analysis, and reporting of quality indicators. The QAPM facilitates and coordinates the accreditation process and assists in the assessment, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of ongoing compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements. The coordinator supports the ASC Peer Review and related activities to align with American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF) standards; and promotes patient safety.

The QAPM is responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that cultivates an exemplary quality program, and establish a setting that supports professional practice. The QAPM upholds high standards of integrity and ethical behavior; demonstrates professionalism; and promotes a customer-friendly environment for both internal and external clients by utilizing ServiceFirst behaviors while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Licensure/Specialized Training:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a Bachelor's
degree in Nursing or related field required. Holds at least one (1) of the following in Nursing: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree.

Licensure/Certification: Licensed to practice as RN in the state of Texas
Related specialty certification within two years of employment; CPHQ certification preferred

Work Experience: Three (3) years in related clinical area of practice; Recent experience in coordinating projects/programs preferred; Previous regulatory, compliance, and accreditation experience preferred

Equipment Operated: Office equipment

Work Schedule: Weekends; Flexible; Eligible for Telecommute
