IV Certification is required for Inpatient
JOB SUMMARY: Prepare and dispense prescribed medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist while ensuring excellence in patient care, patient safety and patient satisfaction. Adhere to all state, federal, organizational, and departmental regulations and guidelines.
- Successful completion of technician competency as defined by management;
- High School Diploma/GED;
- Registered by Texas State Board of Pharmacy & in good standing;
- IV certification preferred,
- MTM Certification preferred
Work Experience (Years and Area):
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician;
- 2 years experience as Pharmacy Technician preferred
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
Other Skills: Mathematics, Medical Terms, P.C.
