Skills / Requirements
Job Summary
To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of a computed tomography (CT) scanner for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Mentors and takes charge in the absence of the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED; Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program
Licenses & Certifications:
Cert Medical Radiologic Tech by the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
Basic Life Support from a hospital- based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program
Cert Computed Tomography Tech by the ARRT
Work Experience: Five (5) as a staff CT Technologist
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /Correspondence, Writing /Reports
Proficiencies: P.C.
