Sr. Manager, Auditing

• Medicaid State of Texas Access Reform (STAR) program for low-income children and pregnant women

The Senior Manager of Auditing is responsible for managing and improving the internal audit program to ensure completeness and accuracy of internal controls, accounting records and financial reports. Responsible for developing and managing the internal audit function, and directing the Model Audit Rule (MAR) Program. The Senior Manager will submit an annual internal audit plan to the Audit Committee on audits conducted and on the status of the audit program. This includes assistance with the third party vendor, data and trending analysis of claims coding, and management reporting. A motivated self-starter who is comfortable working independently and in a team environment. The incumbent must be able to effectively and must possess good investigative and analytical skills.
