Skills / Requirements

Provides day to day oversight for 7+ Ambulatory Clinic Services, CHP Clinic registration activities as directed by the Director of Patient Access.  Provides support and coaching to 7 supervisors and managers.  Responsible for the creation and implementation of processes and polices related to the Patient Access functions of registration, scheduling and cash collections  in the ACS CHP Clinics while ensuring that all Service First standards are applied consistently.  Maintains knowledge base of current government and non-government healthcare compliance requirements, ensuring Harris Health System remains compliant with requirements.  Collaborates with ambulatory leadership to ensure efficient processes are in place to support patient care functions in the CHP Clinics. Also ensures that revenue impacting issues related to registration are fully investigated and resolved.  This position is also responsible for the constant re-evaluation of current processes and potential for improvement.

1. Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Associate's degree in Business, Healthcare or related field, or 2 years of related equivalent experience required.
2. Work Experience (Years and Area): Four (4) or more years of experience in a Patient Acces related environment.
3. Management Experience (Years and Area): Three (3) years managerial experience.
