Job Description

Skills / Requirements
JOB SUMMARY:
Lead complex, multi-disciplinary and enterprise-wide projects.
Establish, develop, implement, and control best practices for Community Health Choice's (Community's) Project Management Office (PMO).
Ability to demonstrate expertise in project management.
Adhere to the PMO methodology in order to deliver projects according to scope, plan and within budget.
Manages the day-to-day tasks and activities of the plan to assure appropriate resources are assigned by departments, identify roadblocks and/or obstacles, and assure appropriate communication among team members.
Routine decision making at the project level and responsible for managing internal project teams as well as working with vendors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
Bachelor's degree.
Four (4) years of project management experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Work Experience (Years and Area):
8 years' experience in project management with at least 4 of the 8 years with IT and/or healthcare or health insurance experience.
Experience in leading request for proposal (RFP) projects
Management Experience (Years and Area): N/A

Other Requirements: Knowledge:
Experience using formal project management methodologies such as Waterfall and/or Agile.
Experience with PMBOK standards and guidelines. Proven experience in project management deployments; on-time and within budget.
Skills:
Leadership, team building, written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to a stringent timeline.
