Job Summary 
Responsible for ensuring superior training and development of pharmacy technicians in order to meet the Harris Health Pharmacy's Mission and Vision of providing optimal medication management to our patients.  On an as needed basis, participates in weekend and weekday staffing coverage to ensure consistent training and the provision of excellent patient care services.  Responsible for all Technician training and competencies in alignment with the PPAO office. Participates in communication initiatives to ensure staff are kept informed of Departmental procedures.

Minimum Qualifications 

Degrees:
Diploma / GED required; Bachelors preferred

Licenses & Certification:
Certified Pharmacy Technician; Registered with TSBP

Work Experience:
5 Years of Experience as a Pharmacy Technician
