Skills / Requirements

JOB SUMMARY: Performs newborn hearing screenings in accordance with Texas state law and regulations, as well as adhering to newborn hearing screening protocol. Assists with general clerical duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: High School Graduate or Equivalent

Work Experience (Years and Area): Some hospital and infant care experience preferred

Equipment Operated: Audiology Equipment and Computer Software

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Writing /Composing: Correspondence, Reports

Bilingual Skills: Spanish, Vietnamese Preferred

Other Skills: Medical Terms, P.C.

Work Schedule: Weekends, Flexible, On Call
