Job Summary
The Support Services PRN (SSPRN) will assist and perform the duties within the department of Environmental Services, Guest transportation, Food Services and other departments as assigned. Within Harris Health Facilities, the SSPRN will work with management and co-workers by engaging in cleaning and/or maintaining all public/non-public areas; transport patients/belongings via wheelchair, stretcher or bed in an efficient, timely and safe manner while maintaining proper infection control methods, and ensuring that the patient is given the utmost courtesy and respect by utilizing good customer service skills; set-up food service station, serve food to customers during meal service periods and maintain a clean environment; other duties identified by departmental leadership. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and assignments.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Licenses & Certification:
a. Food Handler Certificate
b. Basic Life Support
c. After completion of required services (Preferred)
Work Experience: Six (6) Months Work Experience in hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping (Preferred)
Communication Skills:
a. Writing/ Correspondence: Must be comfortable speaking
Languages:
a. English: Capable of reading and writing English
Proficiencies:
a. PC: Beginner
